Portal 2 coming this year
Valve officially confirm holiday debut
Portal 2 is set to be on the cover of the next issue of Game Informer magazine stateside, Valve announcing via Steam that the sequel is indeed en route.
Portal 2 will land this winter ('holiday season' to be precise) and it follows on from the 2007 hit - which was part of the hit package which included Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Counter-Strike 2 and more.
We'll have more on the new Portal just as soon as we can, while await news on whether this will be a stand-alone release or not (a Gamestop listing hints at a co-op functionality, and a US retail price of 49.99 USD - interestingly).
Word in from Doug Lombardi, speaking to Eurogamer.net, has it that the title will be created for the PC and Xbox 360. We've no word on a PS3 version, however.
More Portal 2 just as soon as we can lay our paws upon it.
