Trade publication MCV this week report that are planning to use celebrities in advertisements to help sell the system - mirroring the approach taken by for the DS.

Word has it that Microsoft discussed their plans with a selection of media and other firms last week, Redmond eager to court magazines such as Vogue and Glamour in a bid to appeal to the non-hardcore audience.

Whether this marketing push says much about what kinds of games we can expect to see on Natal remains unclear, but it does a least suggest that Microsoft believe the technology can go toe-to-toe with the Wii.
