Jaffe ignores review scores
New Twisted Metal en route?
Chatting online this week, designer David Jaffe has said that he doesn't really 'get' review scores - and tends to ignore the numbers published in the specialist video games press.
The game maker says that critics "go out of their way" to reward the artistic, often at the expensive of the game itself.
"Don't get me wrong - a good review makes my night, but I no longer find myself connecting with what a lot of reviewers go for and so it doesn't matter as much to me any more," Jaffe explained to CVG.
Rumour has it that Jaffe could be plotting a brand new Twisted Metal game.
