EA's Salt Lake studio hiring for big new project
Something is afoot in the deserts of Utah
EA's Ben Bell has been talking about moving to Salt Lake City to start work on EA's 'next big thing'.
In an interview with IndustryGamers Bell teased a bit about why EA are setting up a second studio in Salt Lake City.
Bell said: A small team of experienced developers from The Sims Studio in Redwood Shores are moving to Salt Lake City to kick off a new project. EA's Play Label has an established office in Salt Lake City. Developers from EA Salt Lake will join the production and we'll hire for key positions as the project grows."
Bell is backing up a new hiring initiative that will see his new team in Salt Lake City expand as it builds what he refers to as "an exciting new IP".
