Just needs a license
With Sony's registration of MotorStorm3.com comes speculation that a third instalment in the off-road racing franchise is set for debut in the near future.
The Gaming Liberty spied the domain registration for the website as filed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe on January 19 of this year.
The website doesn't provide any information on a MotorStorm game, instead forwarding to the official PlayStation website. That doesn't mean, though, that the website won't offer details on a new instalment sometime in the future.
Solid sales of the previous two PS3 iterations make another sequel likely. Expect some announcement to come in the next few months, potentially during GDC next month and most definitely by E3 in June.
