APB 'completely new' MMO
Real Time Worlds break new ground
The long-awaited action MMO from Real Time Worlds, All Points Bulletin, is completely ground breaking (well they would say that... - Ed).
Real Time Worlds' creative guru, Dave Jones, spoke to Games TM recently about the game's delays and why it has become a PC exclusive title, for now.
Jones explains: "Everything we are doing is new: an online game with hundreds of vehicles and thousands of NPCs, all fully interactive; amazing customisation of the player, their vehicles, their audio, real-time dynamic matchmaking; full support for trading of everything created by the players. The list is extensive."
"All of this takes time, but more importantly it takes time to do right," Jones added, emphasising that the PC was the right platform to do all this on.
All Points Bulletin should be available some time later this quarter.
