Facebook gets first-person shooter

Before you continue reading, sit down. Facebook is getting a real-life shooter--an actual first-person shooter, a game in the true sense of the word. Entitled Brave Arms, it plans on bucking the trend of text-based social games when it hits Facebook in March.
The cartoon shooter runs completely in your browser, managing some impressive graphics and advanced social networking features thanks to integration with Facebook. In style, it looks similar to Team Fortress 2, though the structure of competitive matches may differ.
The official website is pretty light on details, unfortunately. There's mention of an option to "purchase various items from the Brave Arms store," which points to micro-transactions generating revenue for developer 3G Studios.
Brave Arms will be free with a Facebook account when it launches in March.
