Kotaku has a full rundown on on the DLC, which is purportedly set for release in late April under the title "Trials of St. Lucia."

Along with a new cooperative mode of play that adds a second playable character in St. Lucia, the expansion introduces a level editor for crafting stages that can be share online.

EA has not responded to request for confirmation of this LittleBigPlanet-like download, but we're certain to find out soon after the game's February 9 release.
