Slant Six Games, developers of SOCOM: Confrontation, could be hard at work on the next title in the Battlefront series, a title said to be going by the name Battlefront Online in the works.

Details are scant on this rumoured new project, reported by Kotaku, with pre-production said to be underway ahead of a 2011 launch on and 360.

LucasArts are said to be heavily involved in the project, and this could be the title that the long-speculated Battlefront III has merged into.
