EA-owned Scandinavian developer DICE are said to be considering plans for a 1943 follow-up.

Bad Company 2 producer Karl-Magnus Troedsson wouldn't be drawn into confirming a new game by Official Magazine, but he did tease us somewhat.

"As a franchise, we're going to focus on the near future but that doesn't exclude that we can do more of these smaller products in the near future," offered the exec.

In the meantime, DICE are plotting fresh premium for Battlefield 1943.
