BBC to make games again
Doctor Who me-do
The BBC has announced that they will be returning to the games market and will be exploring all avenues.
The BBC told MCV, that they would be looking at licensing major intellectual properties like Doctor Who for DS, Wii, iPhone and even social platforms like Facebook.
Managing director of children's and licensing at the BBC Ross Russell said: "What we're trying to do is build the brands here - this is not about opportunistic licensing. If we wanted to do that we would have done more with these key brands over the last few years."
Russell added: "Outside of Disney we have the most well-known line-up of children's characters around the world."
Hopefully they can do something a bit more exciting than Top Trumps Doctor Who, then.
