Patch hits MW2 PC, consoles soon
Big and small fixes introduced
A brand, spanking new patch (1.0.177) has been released for Modern Warfare 2 on the PC, the update landing automatically when you initially log into Steam.
The update addresses a number of minor bugs and introduces important anti-cheating anti-hack features.
We're told the sprint speed has been addressed for the Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades, and there is better sentry gun placement.
Movement 'latency and consistency' has also been tweaked, while we hear this patch will be heading to the PS3 and Xbox 360 shortly.
The patch hits the PC today, and is in testing for consoles - Sony and Microsoft both checking things out. Full notes are online now.
