Korean publisher HanbitSoft has secured the rights to bring back Flagship's failed Hellgate: London back in the West.

The game, renamed Hellgate: Resurrection is already seeing great success in Asia and this prompted HanbitSoft to acquire the European and North American publishing rights to the game.

Not only will Hellgate return sometime next year an expansion, entitled Hellgate: Tokyo, is also planned.

Kee-Young Kim, CEO of HanbitSoft said: "We would like to thank NAMCO BANDAI Games America for allowing us to acquire the Hellgate publishing rights and are thrilled to have eager gamers worldwide return and enjoy the franchise."

Kim continued: "Hellgate: Resurrection is heading towards success in Korea such that we decided to push ahead with launching the game overseas next year. We will do our best to get the game to the fans as soon as possible."
