Microsoft's motion sensitivity peripheral has left the community divided on its potential for success.

While those that are supporting are busy praising Project Natal, there are still many developers who are unsure about the merits of the device.

Sheep developer, Proper Games have their doubts. Proper's Andrew Smith explains: "If I'm honest, have confused me a little with Natal."

Smith expands by questioning Natal's lack of a physical connection to the game. He goes on: "I'm just not convinced that people can enjoy the same range and fidelity of games as they do on the without at least some physical connection to the experience."

Smith put the final nail in his argument by saying that the exclusivity of the platform might deter developers from investing in what is already a fairly expensive console to develop for.

"It's not even like it'll 'benefit' as the Wii did from the PS2/Wii crossover potential," Smith concluded. "Yet another risk in an already iffy-seeming prospect."

Thanks Develop.
