Criterion Need for Speed leak 'fake'

Developer squashes rumours

A Need for Speed fan website in the Czech Republic has this week posted what it claims are leaked concept art shots from Criterion's secret Need for Speed project - but the developer has labeled the content 'fake'.

The site claims that the new racer will be called Need for Speed: Out of the Law, although Criterion's rapid rejection seems to suggest we could be on shaky ground with this particular rumour.

"NFS stories on the net today - 100% FAKE," read a Twitter update from the British game maker.
