Today at the Consumer Electronics Show, Alienware demoed a new 11-inch gaming laptop.

It will be the first proper 'gaming' laptop and boasts a new NVidia graphics chip that has a toggle-able gaming mode that does not require a restart.

The netbook boasts hi-def graphics at 720p and can apparently run comfortably at 50 frames per second and on high settings at 30 frames per second.

It has standard battery life for a netbook at around six and a half hours but switching to gaming mode will reduce that to just two.

The netbook is mooted as being available later this year and is said to cost less than 1000 USD.

Thanks Kotaku.
