Southpeak joins forces with Deep Silver
Euro publisher to make steps into the US
European publisher Deep Silver, known for games like Sacred 2 and Risen have entered into a deal with US publishers Southpeak for North American distribution.
The Section 8 publisher will now be distributing all of Deep Silver's forthcoming titles in North America.
The strategic alliance gives the European publisher, which is the video games arm of Euro media giant Koch Media, access to a much more well-established distribution network in North America.
Deep Silver COO, Geoff Mulligan explains: "SouthPeak instantly brings a great deal of market expertise in North America to our organization. Their team has a strong understanding of the product lifecycle including game development, marketing and retail placement. Most importantly, this alliance allows us to leverage their well established US publishing and distribution platform."
