US Heavy Rain fans snubbed
Collector's Edition is import only
Sony's US division has confirmed with VG247 that Heavy Rain Collector's Edition will not be available in the US, making it a European exclusive.
An unnamed Sony spokesperson told the publication that there was no intention of making the Collector's Edition available in the US. The representative's comment left no wiggle room either.
"We will not be carrying this in the US," VG247 quoted.
At least there is a silver-lining to this cloud for American Heavy Rain followers, as retailer HMV has pegged the game's release in the UK for February 26. While Sony declined to confirm the release date, it looks legit to us. Expect the US release to follow in suit.
