In a surprise interview with Japanese outlet Famitsu by way of Siliconera, has confirmed a March release for sequel Red Steel 2.

The MotionPlus-enabled shooter-slash-swordplay adventure is 95% complete, according to producer Bruno Galet. With the time required for debugging, it's right on track for the pledged March release.

Famitsu also notes the ability to dual wield guns late in the game. Money earned from combat will enable you to purchase the ability, as well as a score of other unnamed powers for both guns and katana.

Red Steel 2 will be available in bundles with a Wii attachment come March.
