Electronic Arts have been spotted scoping out possible locations for a new studio in Atlanta.

Given that Georgia has quite a tasty 30 percent tax incentive it seems to be a very attractive location for to set up shop.

After having a torrid time this year and axing over 1,000 staff including the of Pandemic, the publisher are looking at some cost cutting measures and Georgia seems to be the place to be with developer, CCP, already having major presence there.

EA spokesman, Jeff Brown, said of the possible move: "The tax credit is definitely one of the things that attracted us to Georgia. If we can find an abundance of talent and a pipeline through a local university that gives us access to talent in both art and engineering, that's where we start - The rest of it is really a cost equation."
