Shattered Memories hitting UK in February
Where's the superglue?
Konami have been seeking to breath life into their flagging horror series Silent Hill for quite a while now.
The latest title that they hope will see a resurgent Silent Hill is a reworking of the original PSone title to be released on Wii, PlayStation 2 and PSP.
Due for a UK release on February 5th, Shattered Memories sees British studio Climax re-imagining the first Silent Hill title so that even the most die hard fans of the franchise will experience something new.
Martine Saunders, product manager for Silent Hill, expands on Climax's new take on an old classic: "The key to the game is that it changes constantly. While the game shares certain plot similarities with the original PSone title, Shattered Memories is an incredible new take on it. The game is constantly monitoring the way the user plays the game and responds to situations, and duly adapts to their decisions."
She adds enthusiastically: "Two different people playing the game will not experience the same reactions as each other, while other smaller differences will play out as the title continues."
