The old girl has got life in her yet! Online Entertainment has EverQuest on life support with a new expansion pack released today entitled Underfoot.

It's the sixteenth - that's right 1-6 - expansion pack for the defining massively role-playing game. There's an extraordinary amount of new content packed into the download including a dozen unexplored areas with quests and loot.

A new achievement system allows better tracking of your stats and progress too.

What's truly amazing is that Sony is able to charge eager players a full 39.99 USD for Underfoot. More than a decade later and EverQuest still demands a premium.
