Despite success in having a regarding rights to create a dismissed in the company's favour, Interplay is pressing forward with litigation geared toward punishing Fallout 3-maker Bethesda.

Angered over Bethesda's purported hawking of the Fallout catalogue, Interplay is continuing its lawsuit with the momentum gained by winning affirmation of rights to develop a Fallout MMO. Fallout franchise fan site Duck and Cover has official comment from Interplay regarding the suit.

"Interplay will continue to defend its rights and pursue its Counter-Claims against Bethesda, including its claims for Breach of Contract, Tortious Interference with Prospective Economic Advantage, Rescission, Accounting and Declaratory Relief seeking an award of damages and other relief."

The question to be raised from our perspective isn't who was swindled or slighted, but whether this will result in better Fallout games.
