Producer prays for Inferno sequel

Executive producer Jonathan Knight tells G4TV that he's hopeful Dante's Inferno sells well enough for EA to approve development of a sequel so that he can tackle the challenge of figuring out how to extend the story.
The bloody action game takes inspiration from Dante Alighieri's fourteenth century poem of the same title, which leaves hell for purgatory and ultimately heaven in the second and third acts. Those locales don't exactly make for good hack and slash gaming.
"That is a problem I hope to have to solve by earning the right to do a follow up," Knight says.
It would require an inordinate amount of creative liberty with the source, but considering how many highly questionable changes have been made to transform The Inferno into a lusty, blood-letting adventure, perhaps slicing off angel wings in a sequel isn't out of the question for EA.
