Infinity Ward teases MW2 mods
Pressure from the PC community may have Modern Warfare 2 developer Infinity Ward buckling to demands for modifications tools for the PC version of the blockbuster first-person shooter.
The company's own Robert Bowling teased in a tweet: "Nothing on Dedicated Servers, but there may be some Mod Tools news coming in the future."
It's a bit of a back-handed announcement given that Bowling highlights the sore subject of dedicated servers in the same breath as potential mod tools being made available to PC players.
Nevertheless, this is a step in the right direction for a developer that had infuriated the very PC gaming community that rocketed the original Call of Duty to success.
