Ridge Racer: Accelerated is on the way to the iPhone, confirming the first new Ridge Racer game in three years.

The new title promises to hit the App Store sometime this month - potentially before - and we're told this latest instalment will be as arcade-focussed as ever.

No price has been offered, while the release date isn't fixed yet, but Kotaku quote Famitsu as confirming that the game will arrive this year.
