Fans settle on the new MLB 2K10 cover
No, it is not Eva Longoria
In a fan vote, Tampa Bay's Evan Longoria has been chosen to be the face of the latest in 2K's baseball franchise.
Even though 2K had actually chosen Evan Longoria to be on the cover on MLB 2K10 they offered fans the chance to choose which pose and background would appear on the final pack.
Six shots were offered up for the fans' approval, three different poses and two different backgrounds, and votes were cast.
The final choice was a shot of the Tampa Bay third baseman fielding on a silver background. "Throughout my career, I've taken great pride in my fielding and defensive ability," said Longoria. "I'm pumped about the final cover and sincerely appreciate all the dedicated fans who took time to weigh in on their favourite image for Major League Baseball 2K10."
Major League Baseball 2K10 will be out in the spring.
