There are some new updates for Team Fortress 2 on the way from Valve, although there are still some details to be hammered out. How will this hammering be done? By a fight to the death, of course.

According to Kotaku one of the items being released is a top secret weapon that will either go to the soldier or demoman class. has elected to decide which class receives the prize by having players vote for their class through body count. Robin Walker, of Valve, relays the following:

"If you want your class to have it, you're going to have to fight for it. The more Demomen you kill as the Soldier class will help ensure the Soldier gets the weapon at the end of the week. The more Soldiers you kill as the Demo will help the Demo class get the exclusive seventh weapon."

The other contents of the updates will be three new weapons for each of the aforementioned classes. But if you want the seventh for your class get out there. We will keep you updated on any new info as we get it.
