PC gamers can rejoice as GSC Game World and bitComposer games have announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat will be hitting stores this February.

Call of Pripyat is the first true sequel to the epic Shadow of Chernobyl and will centre on the disappearance of five military helicopters in the contaminated zone.

The series has an awesome reputation for exquisite visuals and this instalment should be no different as it will be one of the first games to harness the power of DirectX 11.

Of course in order to take full advantage of the DirectX 11 compatibility you will need at least a Core 2 Duo E7400 or an AMD 62 X2 5600+, 2B of RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 5800 equivalent or better with 512MB of memory.

Time to re-draft those lists in preparation.
