After last week's announcement that Alien Breed Evolution will be released on Live on December 16th, have explained their reasons for Xbox exclusivity in an interview with GamerZines.

"To be honest, because of the success we had on the 360 with Worms, it made perfect sense to approach with Alien Breed first," explained Team 17's Mark Baldwin."We were considering the episodic approach and wanted to talk to people who had experienced it, and Microsoft were really good. We had some great discussions and things just moved on from there."

Baldwin added that the version should be ready around the first-quarter of next year with the PlayStation 3 version hitting the beginning of summer 2010.

Wii owners are in for a bit of a disappointment however as Baldwin finished off by saying: "We have no plans to release on as yet."
