"I'm not saying its going to happen tomorrow, but in the way that Activision sort of alternates sequels of Modern Warfare and Call of Duty and owns the leadership position in FPS, between Medal of Honor and Battlefield, I want it back," the exec told Kotaku.
"And we're going to get there with innovation and quality."
Riccitiello also believes that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 can give Modern Warfare 2 a run for its money: "The next one is a heck of a lot better and it looks like a worthy competitor to Modern Warfare," added the big cheese.
Medal of Honor will land in 2010 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
