Sony and Microsoft in Thanksgiving tussle
Platform rivals hype up performance
While over half a million Wiis and a whopping one-million DS handhelds were sold in the United States over the Thanksgiving weekend stateside, Sony and Microsoft have also been locked in a tussle for bragging rights.

Sony, meanwhile, were claiming sales of 440,000 PS3 consoles for the week ending November 29th - a hefty total indeed.

"PlayStation 3 demand was at an all time high with the system selling more than 440,000 units for the week ending 11/29/09."
