LucasArts is building a patch that will introduce co-op to the and versions that should be available "in a few weeks," a company spokesperson wrote via Twitter.LEGO Indiana Jones 2 only shipped with split-screen play, though outcry over the lack of online co-op has prompted to move quickly with a patch before the year's end.

Along with opening up co-op play through each of the game's levels, the update will purportedly allow you to join up online in the new Creator mode. It's not clear if levels drafted in Creator mode can be saved on both players' consoles.

While the patch should fill in a big gap in the game, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is still a worthwhile play as we concluded in our recent review.
