A tweet on the official Twitter account teases a new game announcement during the Spike TV Video Game Awards on Saturday, December 12.

"Star Wars fan?" the tweet reads. "You might want to tune into the VGA's [sic], since we'll be announcing a new game!"

No other hints are provided as to what the game will be about, but there's a decent chance it could be Star Wars: Battlefront III. Previously under work by Design, the fest fell off the radar when they avoided bankruptcy by merging with developer Crytek.

We won't know for sure until December though, which is when LucasArts will reveal the game during the televised award show.
