Sony to make good on bad Bloodlines
Disgruntled PSN users receive new codes
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines was launched on the PSN to eager fans last week, but there were a few initial kinks to be worked out.
Apparently the issues arose when the faulty version got yanked by Sony and was replaced with a good one that unfortunately showed up on user accounts as a separate game. Because of this, gamers who had already bought it would again be prompted for a payment.
Eurogamer spoke with a Sony representative who insured that replacement codes would be issued to anyone who made their purchase prior to 12pm GMT on November 20th.
Some reports suggested Sony had closed themselves off from customer queries at the time of the incident, leaving some users a bit disgruntled. But at least it seems they are making amends for the folly. More as the news develops.
