This vast debut sees the game outshining a number of other huge entertainment launches, including the worldwide gross of and the Half-Blood Prince (394 million USD), the five-day record set by IV (500 million USD) not to mention a slew of one day records, to boot.

MW2's launch week has also outshone that of the best selling book, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows.

So far, players of MW2 have racked up 11 million Achievements and 2.2 million simultaneous players, on the alone.
