Sony have revealed today that will be hitting the via update, 3.10, the platform holder clearly trying to spoil Microsoft's own Facebook, and Last.fm debut on Live.

According to word in today, players will be able to have their Facebook status automatically change when they earn a Trophy or a make a PlayStation Store purchase.

In addition to this somewhat OCD new functionality, the 3.10 update will also usher in a new XMB photo toolset, alongside an improved friends list.
