Movie director Paul W.S. Anderson has told ShockTillYouDrop that he is still trying to make a film based on Castlevania, while a flick is also hoped for.

Snake voice actor David Hayer is said to be still involved in the Metal Gear film, although it sounds as if the project isn't too far along at this point.

Castlevania, meanwhile, is at a more advanced stage, the Rogue Pictures project at the scripting juncture right now.
