Again, we're back in NPD-land, figures from the United States revealing that the remains on target to smash one year records - despite an overall fall in hardware over the same period in 2008.

The is the current record holder, having shifted 10 million units last year, but the DS is apparently on track to break this.

Wii, which launches this Sunday, and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, which launches December 7," enthuses in a new release.
