A new charitable initiative will shortly be announced by 2 creators Activision, the publisher forming a non-profit organisation, backed with one-million USD, which will help get soldiers back into 'normal' careers.

The Endowment will be announced tomorrow, Veterans Day, and will of course be timed with the worldwide release of Modern Warfare 2.

"The joblessness rate that [veterans] should have should be far less than the national average, not more. How do you expect people to actually join the military if when they leave the military they can't integrate back into the free market they're supposed to be protecting?" tells the Washington Post.

The special fund will in the main be used to help fund groups that support veterans. More MW2 related chit-chat soon.
