Pachter sees 10 million quick sales

Analyst Michael Pachter has predicted that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 could make over 500 million USD during its first week on sale.

The Wedbush Morgan suit is previewing Activision's third-quarter financial briefing, due later this week, with over ten million sales expected of the series before the end of the fourth-quarter.

"Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 should allow Activision to achieve guidance. We expect global sales to exceed 500 million USD in the first week following launch, and think that the company can easily sell 10 million units in Q4," Pachter offers.

The game launches next week on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
