2K look to fix Aussie Borderlands issues
New, adult version of game offered
We heard yesterday that the Australian release of Borderlands was a heavily censored, no-gore affair, despite the Australian censors having passed Gearbox's RPG for release.
Publisher 2K responded stating that they were investigating the edited version of the title and we're today told that the less violent versions of the title will be replaced.
Reports seem to suggest the Aussie version was sold in error, 2K perhaps surprised that the game was cleared for launch without cuts. Sadly, players will need to download a new version to get in on the bloody action.
Players have been told remove the original game's files, before being presented with an 8Gb download. More Borderlands news soon.
