After lawsuits and recriminations, WWE and are are still locked in debate over the games publisher's licensing of this major wrestling IP.

The WWE has apparently extended the deadline for the extension of the license to December 31st this year.

A five year deal lasting until the end of 2014 is under discussion, but the firms haven't always enjoyed a harmonious relationship.

Still, the extension of this deadline must be positive for THQ, who rely on their WWE titles as one of their biggest series. More on this soon.
