DSi is tops once again in Japan

Another week, another smattering of hardware sales news from the land of the rising sun - the DSi handheld tops with over 49,000 units sold.

The PSP was second in the Japanese hardware chart with over 33,000 units shifted, the PS3 console a close third with just over 30,000 systems out the door.

The Wii meanwhile comes in fourth - only a few hundred units shy of the PS3 following Nintendo's worldwide price cut.

The Xbox 360 console managed a paltry total - below 4,000 - while the DS Lite and the PS2 bring up the rear with just a couple of thousand sales for the week between them.
