Developer Cheyenne Mountain may still be operational, but things aren't looking good for the troubled game maker - the firm's Stargate Worlds seemingly hanging in the balance.

According to Massively, the firm have struggled amid a dire economic backdrop to the get the funding needed to continue work on the game, and this news comes after reports earlier this year had said the company was struggling to pay staff.

"While there continues to be a lot of desire, enthusiasm and excitement about the project from our employees, investors and fans, we will not be able to provide any updates on the of Stargate Worlds until sufficient funding is available," exec Timothy Jenson reveals.
