Capcom and Nintendo take on the DS pirates
R4 cart in the spotlight
Japanese gaming giants Capcom and Nintendo are once again taking on the pirates, doing battle with those caught selling the R4 DS cart, which allows players to use copied game software.
Reports suggest that 53 other game publishers are joining forces as part of this assault on the R4, which was outlawed in Japan earlier this year.
Four firms are still said to be selling the controversial device, and new legal proceedings are said to be in the offing after Capcom claim their threats were ignored.
The new court case will begin soon, in Japan. Thanks Gamasutra.
