Forza 3 may be talking big, the game set for release in a matter of weeks now exclusively on the 360, but Kazunori Yamauchi says that Polyphony's 5 is also complete - and could be released anytime will it.

The battle between this exclusive and the Xbox 360's plucky upstart has been sizeable, but Turn 10's offering is likely to have a clear run at the market while Yamauchi and his team tweak.

"The scale of this title is just dizzying, so daily progress is slow, but it's still going forward at a steady clip. All the basic stuff is complete, but we're trying to give everything that little bit extra at present," the exec is quoted by 1UP as revealing.

"We could release it any time we want, really, but I want to have that classic GT-style 'did we really have to go this far?' feel going. I want to go way beyond gamer expectations."
