Assassin's Creed III to get WWII setting?
Ubisoft also consider lady-assassin
Assassin's Creed II isn't even with us yet, but Ubisoft are already seemingly considering their options for a third game in the series, with a WWII setting said to be under consideration.
Chatting with Xbox 360 World, producer Sebastien Puel has said a female lead is also a possibility, the game set in WWII era France and England.
"We've had discussions on that very topic. It could be really interesting but we'd need to find the right time period and place for that," Puel enthuses.
"Where would that make sense? We don't want to just decide we want to change and have a female hero as the first inspiration is always the time period, but if you're talking about, say, World War II the economies in England and France were run by women because the men were off fighting."
Creative director Patrice Fortier has added that the series will not be limited to a trilogy, the exec stating "we could do 35 of these".
Thanks CVG.
