Pachter expects universal 250Gb Xbox 360
Bigger system could be unleashed
Outspoken analyst Michael Pachter has been gazing into his crystal ball, the big cheese predicting that Microsoft will, at some point, release the 250Gb Xbox 360 console universally. The system is presently only offered as part of Forza 3 and Modern Warfare 2 bundles.
Microsoft recently discontinued the Pro model console, whiling cutting the Elite system down to 299 USD (or 199 GBP, in the UK). New bundles have also been revealed.
Pachter expects the Elite to eventually fall to 249 USD, perhaps early next year, paving the way for the introduction of the 250Gb version.
"So I actually think you're going to see the 120 gig get priced at 249 USD whenever they feel like it, which might be January, February, it's going to happen," Pachter told the Examiner.
