EyePet slips into 2010 in North America

More bad news just before Christmas, I'm afraid, Sony Computer Entertainment America revealing that EyePet won't be out stateside until 2010.
The new monkey-based camera game will arrive across Europe on the 23rd of October, having been created at Sony's London studio. No alternative release date for next year has been mooted by SCEA.
"The North American territory has decided to take additional time to focus on the EyePet product and can confirm it will not be available this holiday," GameSpot have been told by the publisher.
"EyePet is an innovative and exciting new IP to the PS3 platform and SCEA marketing will spend additional time to continue educating consumers and retail channels, setting the table for a successful product launch. We will provide more details on an updated launch timeframe very soon."
